That in piirsuance of the nrovisions of The Municipal Finance Act (Chapter 138 of the Public Laws of 1917 of iNorth Carolina as amended), negotiable bonds of the Town of -Sylva, tq be known as Sewer : "System ' Bonds, are hereby authorized to Vbe issued in an aggragate principal amount not ex ceeding TWENTY-FIVE T H O U S AN D DOLLARS, for necessary 'ex penses !of said . Town, to-wit . for the purpose of paying for the construction of a Sewer System for furnishing Sew erage to Town of Sylva and its citizens. Sec. 2. A tax sumcient to pay me principal and interest o f the bonds' hereby! authorized shall be annually levied and collected. f Sec. 3. The following matters are hereby- determined " and declared pur suant to the requirements of ' section 17 of the Municipal Finance Act. C,-iMMovies" are to be among the means of entertain tog soldiers in the new army in all parts of the United Srates, the War Department announces. In camps, posts and stations where as yet there are no apparatus for reproducing pictures, the War Department Will furnish it. Inaccordance with what is believ ed to be the preference of the men themselves, an admission charge of ten cents will be collected from all who attend the regular shows. For special exbitions a small additional charge will be made. Qvhlans who want to go to these 'military movies5' will have to pay the customary war tax of 10 per cent. It is believed that the profits will meet all the expanses of - these ex hibitions. The pictures will present a wide range of subjects, including educational material.
